Signal Lost

This game REQUIRES use of a Microphone. You must speak aloud to interact with the ghosts.

In Signal Lost, you work for EchoWorks, a mysterious company offering grieving families one last phone call with the dead. But not every spirit is ready to hang up.

Some linger. Some lash out.

Some get trapped on the line.

As the operator, it’s your job to identify each ghost’s type, uncover their story, and banish them using voice commands, correct plug-ins, and intuition. Each call becomes a puzzle of emotional cues, forgotten trauma, and spectral interference.
Failure means static, glitches… or worse.

Restore peace.
Cut the line.
Before the signal is lost for good.

Setup:

1. Plug in your microphone before launching the game.

2. Once loaded, insert the plug into a socket.

3. Say “Hello” to initiate contact with the spirit on the line. (very specifically)

4. click any of the buttons in game to progress the dialogue.

5. Each ghost is connected to a specific emotional category.
   Your job is to:
   
   • Identify the ghost’s type through their dialogue.
   • Speak the correct banishing phrase out loud.
   • Only then will the connection be severed.
   There is no visual HUD to guide you — all information must be inferred from what you hear. (I didn't have enough time, my bad)
   Ghost types and their phrases are: 
6. The Lost “I found you”
7.  The Lingering “Release your grip” 
8.  The Lonely “You are not alone” 
9.  The Murdered “You are Safe” 
10.  The Accident Victim “Accidents happen”
11.  The Demon “Begone foul beast”  

 Speak the phrase clearly and exactly once you've identified the ghost.

The game ends once all trapped ghosts have been banished from the line. Until then, they’ll linger in static… waiting to be heard.
